BIO

Almost everyday of my life, I have felt like I want to just make something. I am never really sure what that something will turn out to be. In the past I have mainly worked in stained glass, mosaic, painting and jewelry.

I have only recently begun doing collage on paper and I find I love it best. I rarely plan; instead I go with the moment and start cutting and gluing. Collage for me has no restrictions. I can free my imagination to take me wherever it wants to go, and most of the time, I am happily surprised by where I end up.

I never view my images as finished. I figure they can always be something else later, like a card, a part of some jewelry, a pillow, or an idea for an altered book. One idea always leads to another. I really just have a lot of fun doing collage.

I come from a line of talented girls I have a "all around crafty mom" the woman does literally everything! Never thought I would ever want to learn to sew more than I do right now..... it was basically the "MOM! could you do this thing for me!" ... I'm such a lazy one at times! My sister is equally as talanted in the food arena! and my older daughter is a amazing writer.... we have yet to discover my youngest ones talents!
right now she majors in being cute! LOL.
anyway, I also have a monster paper fetish..... (meaning I do many paper arts ...... MY photography degree also included book binding & stage make-up! Go figure I also dabble in alot of crafty things my latest is sewing.... Not that they may resemble much right now! LOL. I am also into genealogy & my local history so when I'm not here I'm on those blogs! Well, Thanks for looking! and I hope to post more art work as well, as my photos! (I get bored easily what can I say PLUS, since taking a hiatus from my photography studio I have "some" time on my hands! but when my little one gets older I will jump with both feet back in! because I miss it!)
